O.Thermoelectric Materials and Devices for Sustainable Energy Utilization
Thermoelectric materials provide a technique solution for the energy direct inter-conversion between heat and electricity. This advantage attracted wide attention in the applications of power generation and solid-state cooling. For the power generation, it is promising candidate for the recovery of waste heat into electricity. While, for the cooling, it is a critical thermal management technique for the laser module in telecom field. It also provides a convenience for sustainable electric power supply for IoT sensors, or personal healthy monitor. This symposium will focus on emerging TE materials for sustainable energy conversion and discuss the advances and challenges in this field, including the multiscale materials design, synthesis, fabrication, and theory modeling, also the application of TE materials in sustainable energy conversion devices. This symposium will provide an international forum for developing TE materials processing and device applications of new materials and theories to meet the challenges of sustainable energy technologies.

Proposed topics:
Classic thermoelectric materials
New thermoelectric compounds
Flexible inorganic thermoelectric materials
