Q.Sensitive Materials and Devices
Topic: Sensitive materials and devices that are capable of converting different physical and chemical stimuli, e. g. mechanical, thermal, gaseous and optical signals into electrical response, are of great potential for man-made robots to perceive the world like human beings, or assisting people to explore the fields that currently cannot be touched, or making our life more comfortable and protecting us from danger. According to their sensitive feature, they could be classified as temperature-sensitive, gas-sensitive, voltage-sensitive, and optical-sensitive materials and so on. Correspondingly, they are manufactured as thermistors, gas sensors, varistors, and optical sensor. The main trends in the development of sensitive materials and devices with high performance include low-dimensional and high-dimensional designs, low-temperature and facile preparation strategies, chip-type integration approaches, flexible and stretchable features and multi-functional modules. This symposium covers all these main trends, and papers on newly emerged sensitive materials, progresses in preparation and characterization techniques, and new applications of sensitive materials and devices all are welcome. The topics of this symposium will include but not limit to:

Q01 Thermal sensitive materials and devices
Q02 Voltage sensitive materials and devices
Q03 Gas and humidity sensitive materials and sensor
Q04 Acoustic transducer materials and devices
Q05 Optical sensitive materials and detectors
